We are extremely aspirational for all our students and our sixth form has been designed with this in mind. Academic in nature, our sixth form is committed to ensuring our students achieve outstanding results so that they are able to secure a place at a top university or higher apprenticeship and become leaders in their chosen field.
We will ensure that our students:
- have the knowledge and support they need to make the best choices for their future
- secure the place they deserve at the institution of their choice
- have the developed character and well-rounded education to succeed when they get there
Ark Acton Sixth Form has already established a strong reputation, with many of its students securing places on the most competitive courses at the highest-rated universities; in the last two years, a quarter of Year 13 leavers won places at Russell Group institutions.
In recent years, alumni have gone on to study at leading institutions including: Bath, Brunel, Cardiff, Durham, Essex, Imperial College London, Kent, King’s College London, Leeds, LSE (London School of Economics), Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Nottingham, Reading, SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies), Southampton, Surrey, QMUL (Queen Mary), UCL (University College London) and Warwick.
They are reading a broad array of subjects including Anthropology, Architecture, Business Management, Chemistry, Chinese, Computer Science, Dentistry, Digital Film Production, Economics, Engineering, History, Journalism, Law, International Relations, Mathematics, Medicine, Photography, Politics, Psychology and Spanish.
